El Salvador is riding the waves as global surfing’s newest mecca

A 13-mile stretch of Salvadoran coastline the federal government has named Surf Town is among the international’s latest browsing meccas. On the heart of the ones 13 miles are Los angeles Bocana and El Sunzal, two most sensible browsing spots identified jointly as El Tunco after the unique volcanic rocks only some toes off the seaside.

It’s a spot the place the waves are so ripe and the water so heat, tourism officers are hoping it may well restore the rustic’s battered symbol whilst the Global Browsing Assn. has selected it as the site of the general qualifying rounds for the debut of browsing as an Olympic game this summer season.
