Obituary: Paul McFarlane, 85, of Wallingford

WALLINGFORD, CT – (From Wallingford Funeral House) Paul McFarlane, 85, of Wallingford, CT loving husband of 59 years of Brenda (Holmes) McFarlane, passed on to the great beyond peacefully, September 19 2021 at MidState Clinical Middle in Meriden.

He was once born in North Andover, MA on October 16, 1936, a son of the past due M. Pauline (Snow) Watson and Rev. Frank Watson of Brotherly love, NH and Plum Island, MA.

He served in the USA Military and was once a draftsman for Pratt & Whitney for two decades after which the development business for a few years till retiring.

Paul was once all the time up for and in a position to move on any journey that got here is far. He liked the outside. He liked and had a zeal for snowboarding, working highway races, cycling, swimming and birdwatching.

He relished in his annual ski travel together with his brother to Tuckerman’s ravine to ski the bowl each spring. When vacationing in Hawaii he took browsing classes.

When visiting NYC, Central Park was once his 2d house. Researching all of the more than a few species of timber and birds after which searching for out their location. Paul liked the seaside and Plus Island MA was once the place he selected to spend his time

In retirement, touring was his hobby with journeys to Italy, Nova Scotia and Germany to call a couple of.

After which, his love for his circle of relatives and grandchildren was once his buoy. He was once a gorgeous husband and father, however being a grandfather to Rebekah and Nicole was once his largest pleasure in existence.

Along with his spouse, Brenda, he’s survived through his daughter, Maryellen Allegretti of Wall Township, NJ; his sister, Anne Lynch of Florida; and his beloved granddaughters, Rebekah and Nicole.

He was once predeceased through his brother, David McFarlane in February, 2021
A birthday party of his existence will probably be hung on October 2, 2021 from 11 am to two:00 pm at Fatherland Eating place, 314 Major Boulevard, Wallingford.
